CUYAHOGA FALLS — Voters living in the Woodridge Local School District will see Issue 43 — a 10-year, 2.09-mill renewal levy — on the Nov. 3 General Election ballot.
Treasurer Tom Morehouse said the levy generates approximately $1 million each year for the district and costs the owner of a $100,000 appraised home $64 annually.
Superintendent Walter Davis said the levy was originally passed in the early 1990s and is used to cover the cost of operations such as utilities and personnel.
“I hope our community sees it as an investment in our district and property values,” Davis said.
He is hopeful voters will support the renewal, which is not a new tax. Read more about Woodridge’s Renewal Levy which is not a new tax.
