As was published in the Falls News Press, June 29, 2016:
It appears that Woodridge Local School District voters will see a levy renewal request on this fall’s election ballot.
The Woodridge Board of Education on Tuesday night instructed district treasurer Deanna Levenger to prepare the paperwork for the first step the Board needs to approve placing the tax issue request on the November ballot.
The levy in question is 6.87 mills, generates $3 million per year and was initially passed in November 2012, according to Levenger, who added the measure expires at the end of 2017.
